MetLife hits 1-m mark in policy sales

MetLife India Insurance Company Ltd (MetLife) on Monday crossed the 1- million mark in policies issued, taking the total number of lives insured to 2 million (including the group business). The company, which started its operations in India in 2002, is now one of the fastest-growing life insurance companies in the country with a presence in over 690 locations and a market share of 3.5%.
