Investors still perplexed about Ulips

Most holders of unit-linked insurance plans, or Ulips, say their insurance agent informed them about the commission upfront, though very few know, or were informed, that it is often upwards of 20 to 30%. Although a majority of policyholders are satisfied with the performance of their Ulips, under a fourth bought them for insurance reasons, reveals a four-city FE-Synovate Ulip Survey conducted on Wednesday.
