LIC Apr-May investments up 7 fold

Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) has invested Rs 26,335 crore across the asset classes in the first two months of this fiscal, which is seven times higher than the investment made by it during the corresponding period in the previous year. The asset class include debt and equity. LIC has made cool profit of Rs 1,550 crore from its investment in the first two months---April & May of the current fiscal.
