Uniform rates for cashless treatment soon

Public sector insurance companies and major hospitals are likely to finalise a uniform rate structure for cashless treatment scheme within a week s time. However, the settlement with two of the largest corporate hospital chains Apollo Hospitals and Fortis Healthcare could take longer as these two healthcare groups are yet to submit the rates for procedures at their facilities to the insurance firms. However, most other large hospitals including Max India, Gangaram and Medanta have already submitted the rates to insurance firms, which are currently scrutinising it.
