Obama may trade 'open mkt' with outsourcing

US President Barack Obama could downplay concerns on outsourcing during his India visit on the assurance that New Delhi will allow more investment by US companies in sectors with caps like insurance and defence. At a press briefing at the White House, Mike Froman, deputy national security advisor for international economic affairs, said Washington would push for a level-playing field where there was an open market for US companies, instead of only focusing on outsourcing concerns.
