How new health insurance norms can benefit you

Following the Bombay High Court order in December last year, the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (Irda) had promised to draft guidelines to protect the interest of health insurance policyholders and make the system more transparent. Recently, the insurance regulator proposed certain norms, which could bring the much-needed standardisation in the industry.
