Deepak Parekh's term extended till Dec 2009

Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) has re-appointed Deepak S Parekh as its chairman with effect from March 1, 2009, up to December 31, 2009. Keki Mistry, vice-chairman and managing director, HDFC , said the board is yet to decide on appointing a full-time CEO for its life insurance arm, HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company Ltd after Deepak Satwalekar retired from the company as its CEO and managing director a few months back.
