Mumbai terror claims not to cross Rs 500 cr

Hotels Taj Mahal and Oberoi Trident along with Nariman House have claimed Rs 250-300 crore, Rs 150 crore and Rs 5-10 crore, respectively, from the terror insurance pool floated in India by companies like ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company and United India Insurance Co Ltd. The pool is managed by the country s sole reinsurer GIC Re . These places were badly affected in the Mumbai terror attacks on November 26, 2008.
